If you’re like most people, you’re about to take off on a vacation during one of the peak times of the year for travel. Spring Break is definitely in the air, with high schools and colleges alike letting out. This is not going to be the time of the year that you want to try to shoot for that childless vacation — if you go to any popular destination, you will definitely see children running around. However, there are places that are going to be less populated by children, and there are going to still be great deals if you’re actually one of the people that doesn’t mind negotiating for the things that they want in life.

What you really need to know about the world of travel is that everything is negotiable. It’s just a matter of doing it in a way that doesn’t offend anyone. If you really work on being as pleasant as you can, you will find that people will be more than willing to work with you.

Let’s talk accommodations first. First off, price might not always be negotiable but you can work it out to where you’re getting a lot more than what’s advertised. The trick here is to be as kind as possible to the actual staff members. A lot of tourists think that since they’re on vacation and no one is likely to remember them that they can behave anyway that they see fit. That’s just not the case, and it’ll end up making it hard for you to get anything other than what’s been advertised.

Tipping can unlock doors, but you don’t want to look like a jerk. There’s a way to tip that’s seen as being friendly, and a way to tip that makes it look like you’re bragging. If you really want to get extra things that aren’t advertised, you need to simply make the tip look as natural as possible. If they don’t mention money, you shouldn’t mention money either.

Another thing that you can do to help your chances of getting discounts that aren’t advertised is to make sure that you really go out of your way to be as helpful as you can be. If people see that you’re really someone that tries their best to be as helpful as possible, they’ll give you information on where you can save money on things.

As always, you need to find a limit where enough is enough. While everyone likes a good deal, being too deal hungry can make you look like all you care about is the deal, and that’s not good either. It makes you look bad, and it can make staff and other people think that you’re not someone that should be trusted with well kept secrets like how to save big money on vacation. That’s why they call the high price of travel the “tourist tax”.

When it comes to location, you have to also keep in mind that prices will depend on where you are. If you only want to deal with the tourist trap parts of a city, you overlook the rich local treasures that can really lower your overall costs. For example, if you’re a young person touring Germany, you might find it worth your while to stay at a youth hostel. It’s not going to be filled with a lot of extras, but it will give you a base of people to spend time with, laugh, and explore your little part of Germany. You’ll also get a lot of information they don’t print in guidebooks, which is always a good thing!

At the end of the day, you can only try to find deals. If they spring up, then you’re definitely off to a good start. Otherwise, you will need to make sure that you just focus on building the best experience you can — that’s all you can do!

It’s no secret that there’s plenty of things to think about when it comes to planning your next vacation. However, one of the most overlooked areas of travel is definitely travel health insurance. A common assumption most people make is that the insurance that they have for their regular life at home will automatically cover them in case of an emergency. Unfortunately, this is often not the case at all, and the last thing you want is to be in another country when the worst happens and find that your health insurance policy doesn’t cover very much at all.

Thankfully, solving this problem is actually fairly simple. You will want to make sure that you invest in a travel health insurance policy that will cover you for not only emergencies, but there are also policies that will allow you to pick up your medication while you travel abroad.

Travel health insurance is actually not as expensive as people assume it to be. This is because you can purchase time limited travel health insurance that will expire once you are back in your home country. You can then restart it for your next trip instead of having to pay for something that you will not need to make use of since you won’t be traveling during that time. There’s plenty of travel health insurance companies that offer top notch health insurance policies that can help you stay safe while abroad. In fact, the cost of not having travel insurance in case of an emergency is far higher than actually purchasing the policy itself.

Travel Health Insurance

Make sure that you keep your travel health insurance card with you, and it doesn’t hurt to make photocopies of it as well. If you need to have prescription medication refilled while you travel, don’t forget to bring a letter from your current doctor and also to check to make sure that your medication isn’t considered an illegal narcotic in that country.

In addition, you will also want to pay close attention to the effective date of your travel health insurance coverage. The last thing you want is to find yourself in a bad situation and your travel health insurance doesn’t take effect until the next day. This is where looking into the details of your travel insurance policy is definitely a good thing.

Don’t forget to set up points of contact while traveling abroad to make sure that there will be someone that can attend to you if you do end up having a medical emergency. Write down these names and numbers and keep them on you at all times, along with an explanation of who to call first. This is critical information if an emergency were to occur, since the right parties can be contacted quickly and even make decisions on your behalf if you were to become unable to make these decisions yourself.

Overall, getting travel health insurance isn’t difficult at all — if you take the time to look at the situation from every angle, you should have no problem getting the quality travel health insurance that you deserve!

Many travel guides focus on traveling with a group of people, but there are some hidden benefits to traveling alone. When you make the decision to travel alone, you are at the mercy of no one’s schedule but your own. In addition, traveling alone allows you to see the world and meet new people that you might not meet if you were traveling in a group and relying on your existing social network. However, traveling alone also has its risks — you will have to pay close attention to your safety to make sure that you will be able to enjoy the very best your travel destination has to offer.

Whether you’re planning your first trip alone or have already made several trips solo, there’s a few things you need to keep in mind in order to get the best experience possible.

First, you will want to make sure that you secure your documents before you begin traveling alone. While no one wants to imagine that theft could actually happen to them, there’s no reason not to protect yourself to the best of your ability. There’s a few different ways to do this. Purchasing a safe to keep your valuables in is a good idea, but you will also want to make sure that you have photocopies of all your important documents just in case. Keeping an eye on your surroundings will make sure that you don’t lose a single document — suspicious activity is everywhere, but if you stay aware of everything going on around you, you should have no problem staying safe throughout the duration of your trip.

Traveling Alone

Next, you will want to make sure that you are a well aware of all date and time information. If you will be traveling internationally, you will want to make sure that you set your watch to the new country’s timezone. This is a common mistake that many new travelers make, but adhering to timezones is one of the keys to great travel. In addition, you will also need to pay close attention to the time schedules of the city around you. Many small towns close down early, which can make it difficult to actually get the supplies you need to enjoy your stay. If you can schedule it properly, it’s better to come into a new area early so you will have plenty of time to really get to know your surroundings. Being able to speak some of the local language also comes in handy — you can not only talk to people for directions, but also to get a real taste of what the country around you is like. Travel guides can only give you so much information — the local citizens will have the best information when it comes to off-beat locations and places of interest in the new country.

Finally, you will want to make sure that you dress appropriately for travel. No matter if you’re a man or a woman, you will want to make sure that your clothes don’t stick out too much for the area that you’ll be traveling to. Flashy clothes may make you look nice, but they can also make you a target to thieves and other unsavory characters. It’s better to dress down and look like just another person in the crowd than be the center of attention. Since you will be traveling alone, it’s important to do everything you can in order to increase your safety.

All things considered, traveling alone doesn’t have to be difficult, nor is it something that should be feared. With the information in this guide, you should no problem traveling alone and enjoying your vacation to the fullest!

It’s time you figured out how to wade through the excess information you’ll find when shopping for the lowest priced airline tickets online. To say that the amount of information sent your way can be overwhelming is an understatement. Here are a few notes to help you wade through the information overload and to make your flight search a lot easier.

The first thing you need to understand is that there are hundreds of travel booking sites on the internet today, and every one of them makes the same promise about having the lowest prices available. Before you start comparing bargains, you’ll need to establish a budget. You don’t want to over pay for your arrangements because you’ll want to have some spending money left over for the trip.

Flight Search

Cheap flights are only good if the flight is reasonable and without a plethora of stops along the way. Ideally, there’d be food, and lot’s of elbow and leg room…for the cheapest price on the internet! Wake up! Traveling on a budget means prioritizing.

The best online travel sites to visit are those that allow you to compare their prices to those of their competitors. Narrow down you potential list of sites by avoiding those that are all offering the same deals. Often, these rates are very similar from what you could get yourself simply by calling the airline ticket agent. So, it is important to locate the sites that negotiate exclusive deals with the airlines for their customers.

A good tip is to plan ahead in order to get the best deals available. A good rule of thumb is to start comparing prices about a month before you plan to travel. This lets you take advantage of special 7 – 21 advanced ticket purchase deals. Keep a special eye out for travel recommendations. The best travel sites offer not only the best possible prices, but also travel tips to make your visit more enjoyable.

Beware of sites that only lead you to lists of other sites. These portals are nothing more than link exchanges designed more to help get web traffic to internet sites than to really help you. If the web site looks cheap, it probably is.

Searching for the best airfares doesn’t have to give you headaches. There are plenty of resources available to help you without a great amount of hassle. Travelling on a budget requires a little diligence to find the best deals, but when you know that your wonderful vacation probably cost half of what the guy next to you paid, you’ll enjoy it even more!

If you’re looking to take your special lady somewhere amazing this Valentine’s Day, there’s a few places that are guaranteed to make her smile. There’s plenty of last minute Valentine’s Day travel deals that are still available if you want to change plans quickly to surprise your sweetie. The five destinations listed below are a mix of the classic and the extraordinary, and you’re sure to find a new favorite hiding in the list.

Miami

1. Miami

What’s not to like about Miami? If you have your eye on traveling to Miami during Valentine’s Day, remember one thing: it’s hot! The weather isn’t the only thing that’s warm when it comes to this city: the culture and the people simmer with an inner heat that has to be experienced directly in order to be believed. Miami is a diverse city filled with people from all walks of life, with a rich Spanish culture serving as a strong backdrop. Make sure that you take the time to check out any of the tango parlors, since tango focuses on the closeness between dance partners. How romantic!

Sydney

2. Sydney

If you live in the northern hemisphere, then Valentine’s Day is going to be at least a little bit chilly for you. However, if you decide to travel down to Australia you’ll find a much warmer climate waiting for you. It’s worth the long plane ride for you and your sweetie to enjoy the best of the “land down under”. The friendliness of the people that call Sydney home on a daily basis makes it really worth giving a closer look — you’ll be hard pressed to find a city filled with nicer people.

Las Vegas

3. Las Vegas

Some might feel that Las Vegas is too over the top to list as a Valentine’s Day vacation destination, but that’s the main quality that makes Vegas such a fun place to visit! If you thought New York City never sleeps, you’ve never seen Vegas – it is truly a place that has no concept of bedtime at all. In the daytime, there are plenty of conventions, shops, museums and shows to choose from. At night, you’ll have your pick of casino attractions, even more shows, and world class cuisine from around the world.

Prague

4. Prague

Prague is the heart of the Czech Republic, and has been on many travel lists for decades because of the unique charm of the city. You’ll enjoy this city if you’re into rich history and even richer food. If you really want to go all out, take a day trip down the river to get a unique perspective on this centuries-old city.

Antigua

5. Antigua

Antigua has long been a paradise and safe haven for travelers. The weather is not only friendly, but the culture seems to welcome visitors by default. This is a great Valentine’s Day hotspot because you can sit on the beach, or even go snorkeling. If you’re determined to keep your feet dry and sand-free, the island has amazing cultural landmarks that you can explore all day — well, before dinnertime that is.

All things considered, deciding to travel is a great idea on Valentine’s Day. If you decide to take the plunge, don’t forget to give yourself a couple of days after Valentine’s Day to enjoy the best of any city you choose to visit. You’ll come back refreshed and ready for another year of enjoying life with your special lady!

Let’s face it; we all start out life on wheels. In fact, most parents are quite adept at wheeling around their young charges in strollers and baby carriages. It’s pretty easy to do when they are small. But what about when they grow bigger? Can you imagine wheeling around a teenager in a stroller? That uncut curb that was once easy to bump up is no longer a piece of cake with a teenager on board. Although this example may be an over simplification of the situation, it illustrates a very common problem. We have seen it played out time and time again as children get bigger and make that transition from stroller to wheelchair.

Mom and dad can no longer lift them and those “few steps” that was once easily navigable in stroller become impossible in a wheelchair. It’s usually at this point that we hear comments from parents such as, “We used to be able to travel when he/she was small, but now that he weighs 100 pounds we just can’t do it anymore.” Although I understand the frustration, that’s not exactly a fair assessment of the situation. Travel is still possible, even with a child in a wheelchair.

Traveling with Kids

The truth is that most parents don’t give access much thought while their child is in a stroller. A stroller fits through standard doorways, it’s not too heavy to bump up a curb and, if worse comes to worst, they can always carry junior. When a child graduates to a wheelchair, parents have to think about accessible rooms, toilets, and transportation for the first time. And when this happens, it takes more time to plan, organize, and actually execute a trip. Although this can be frustrating to many parents who traveled easily before, the good news is that family vacations don’t have to end just because your child uses a wheelchair. Car trips are a favorite family vacation option. It’s just easier to travel by car when your kids are small. Let’s face it; you take a lot of things with you when you travel with young children. That fact by itself makes the family vehicle (with plenty of room for luggage and extras) the ideal vacation transportation choice. Additionally, many toddlers aren’t exactly ideal air passengers. They get bored easily, and it’s hard to keep them entertained on long flights.

On the other hand, if u travel by car you will be more comfortable as the road trip will offer you to halt the vehicle as much time as you want. Car trips also present an especially attractive option for wheeler kids. As one mom says, “My son can’t fly anymore because he can’t really sit in an airplane seat. He just doesn’t have enough head and back support. Now we travel by van and he stays in his own wheelchair. We can stop when we want, and he is safer and more comfortable with this mode of traveling. It’s really a good solution.”

Train travel is much more than just a mode of transportation. Throughout time, “riding the rails” has been portrayed as an exciting and romantic way to travel. Whether you choose the Orient Express or the Northeast Express, train travel has many advantages. It’s a great way to enjoy the countryside in relative comfort and, if you travel on a rail pass, it’s also very economical. As with everything else, train accessibility varies throughout the world. With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the major rail systems throughout the world and see how they stack up access-wise. Access varies, depending on the route and the train, but all Amtrak trains have at least one accessible coach car. Amtrak passengers can either travel in their own wheelchair or opt to transfer to a coach seat.

All trains have wheelchair spaces, although no lock-downs are provided on intercity trains. Some cars only have one wheelchair space, and no cars have more than two wheelchair spaces. Many trains have accessible bathrooms, but the configuration varies depending on the train. Make sure to inquire about bathroom accessibility when you make your reservation. Don’t be afraid to ask for the dimensions and measurements of the onboard bath- room, as size varies from train to train. Most onboard bathrooms are smaller than their land versions, so don’t expect to find features like a 5-foot turning radius in the stall. They are accessible to a large majority of the population, but it’s always best to ask for measurements in advance, so that you won’t encounter any unexpected surprises.

Indian railways are the Asia’s largest and world’s second largest rail travel network under a single management. It is helping for the Industrial and economic growth for over 150 years. These are two main segments of railways – freight and passenger. The freight segment provides around 2/3rd of revenues and passengers 1/3rd of revenues. The total route length for railways was 63.5 thousands kilometers in 2005-06. 17.9 thousand kilometers were electrified during 2004-05; it carried 5,725 million of passengers and 666.5 million tones of freight traffic.

However, railways face the following problems:

1. The existing technology of both electric and diesel locomotive is very old.
2. The railway network is similar and inadequate when compared to the requirements of the economy.
3. Railways is also facing financial crisis. The traditional methods of increasing the net revenue like rising of tariffs and expenditure control are inadequate for generating the required levels of investment.
4. Because of social responsibilities, railways are forced to operate in number in un-remunerative lines and suffer heavy losses. Often, essential goods like food grains, fruits and vegetables have to be carried at a loss.
5. Railways also suffer from over crowding and poor passenger services.

In order to meet the above challenges, railways are trying to improve resource management. Rational price policy, increased wagon load, faster turnaround time, Public – Private Partnerships (PPPs ) , double line freight corridor for efficient freight movements are some of the steps taken in recent years.

One of the most time consuming aspects of planning a vacation is deciding what to pack. The destination obviously plays a large part in what type of clothes you will pack. A summer trip to the beach means that you will need a bathing suit, shorts, short sleeves, sandals, and possibly a towel. A ski trip, however, means all kinds of water resistance cloths, sweaters, coats, jeans, and thick socks. Below are a few things to keep in mind while packing.

Consider any cultural requirements of the place where you are going. Make sure you do not take anything that violates a cultural standard or is too racy. And do not pack a lot of expensive accessories, like jewelry, as you will want to focus on the trip, not guarding your luggage. Take clothes that make it easy to keep your money on you, whether you pack clothes with more pockets or a good purse or back pack.

Packing Smart for Your Vacation

Only pack as much as you will need. Take the number of days into consideration and see about doubling up the use of pants or pajamas so that you can take fewer pairs. If you are unsure if you will need an outfit, opt to leave it at home. This will save you from spending lots of time packing and unpacking, as well as lighten the luggage. For a more polished look, take clothes that do not wrinkle, like jeans, so that you won’t have to spend time ironing.

Try not to pack clothes that will blend into the hotel furnishings to avoid losing them during the vacation or as you check out. The fewer accessories you take the better, including shoes. These items are easy to misplace and can consume a lot of time to locate. Make sure that you have comfortable shoes that you have worn at least a few times so that you do not suffer discomfort while walking on vacation. If you take the time to determine what you will need before you travel, you will have more time to focus on enjoying the vacation after you leave home.

Hitting the slopes for a good ski session or walking through a winter wonderland is all well and good, but what about good old fashioned fun in the sun? Sure, it may be nothing but chilly temperatures and snowfall in your neck of the woods, but these ten locales provide warmer climates and even warmer sun to soak up. Don’t worry about soaking up too much – you can always take some of the sunshine back with you when you’re ready to head home!

While there are many cruises that are selling out quickly, it is possible to get last minute cruise reservations to bring in the New Year right — after all, cruises often have cancellations and it can be a great way to get an amazing vacation at a reduced price that you won’t find advertised widely. With the right New Year’s cruise deal, you’ll save so much money you might even be able to bring a friend!

Below is a list of top travel destinations that should get your brain thinking about all the wonderful things to do on vacation – don’t forget your sunscreen!

1. Prague

Prague

This hot holiday destination is one of the most overlooked cruise destinations — while other popular travel spots like Hawaii and Bali are crowd favorites, there’s plenty of features about a cruise trip to Prague that make it worth a second look. Many cruises offer a long tour of the river that curves around the city, along with a traditional Czech meal course. After all, part of the fun of traveling is tasting exotic dishes that you can’t get at home! The fireworks show over the river is also a sight that has to be observed firsthand. While this location is not as warm as the others on the list, it’s a must add to your list simply for the rich, scenic views of the riverfront.

2. Sydney

Sydney - New Year's Eve

The land down under makes a great cruise destination — if you’re coming from the northern hemisphere, you’ll find that your December and early January will really feel more like June and July. Australia enjoys their seasons in reverse, making this a perfect chance to really get away for some fun in the sun. Once you get to port, there’s plenty of activities to do and culture to see. Don’t forget to stay peeled for the grand fireworks display in Sydney Harbor that happens every year — it’s bigger than just about any other show on earth!

3. Costa Rica

This hidden jewel provides mixes a nice moderate climate with exotic culture and delicious food. On your cruise you’ll get the opportunity to try out a number of different activities, including snorkeling and diving. Beautiful coral and underwater life await you in crystal clear blue waters, but if the water isn’t your thing there’s plenty of fun waiting for you on shore as well. Sightseeing is an absolute must if you’re going to Costa Rica – the lush tropical paradise holds enough unique plants and animals to keep your camera busy for a long time. While it does not get as much attention as other travel destinations around it, Costa Rica is a peaceful island that is definitely worth visiting.

4. Bali

Bali

When an island belongs to a group of over 17 thousand other islands, one thing is certain: that island has to be pretty special to rise to the top! That island is Bali, part of the greater island chain of Indonesia. Bali has long been held as one of the many great treasures of the South Pacific, for numerous reasons. For starters, the unique culture of Bali blends many Hindu elements with the dominant ethnic Balinese culture to create a very unique style in art, music, and entertainment that is like no where else on earth. The food would also fit into this category, benefiting from the ethnic diversity of this beautiful island as well as the unique types of plants that flourish here. History fans will fall in love with the many temples and old architecture that still dot the landscape providing a strong link to the past.

This is one cruise destination where it is absolutely critical to get off the cruise ship and explore the island as much as possible. The people are extremely friendly and since tourism makes up a big part of Bali’s economy, many are more than happy to help a lost tourist find their way again.

5. Antigua

Antigua

With constant pictures of dreary snow and ice, who isn’t ready for the beach? You’ll find plenty of beaches to explore in Antigua, an island that prides itself on providing a top notch luxury experience that will be discussed for months, even years to come.

Snorkeling, scuba diving, and just regular old swimming are all popular water-based activities in Antigua. On land, sightseers will be interested to see the mix of European, Portuguese, and African cultures that blend together here, with a strong British core rising to the top. In addition, many American trends have also made their way into Antigua, so first-time cruise travelers will be comforted to know that those they meet during their stay here will know exactly what to do to help make their stay extremely pleasant. The lush tropical paradise of the island gives way to unique crops and even more unique cuisine choices, and the feeling of being plugged into familiar culture makes Antigua even more appealing. This travel destination is highly recommended for first time cruise travelers that want to experience luxury at its finest from every angle, while being protected by a culture that definitely knows how to take good care of the tourists that visit year around.

6. Auckland or Wellington

Auckland

These two jewels of New Zealand are mentioned as a double feature because it’s really hard to choose between them! Auckland is the largest city, while Wellington holds the proud distinction of being the capital of the country itself. No matter which country you choose you’ll be treated to an interesting blend of food, culture, and architecture. New Zealand ranks very high on just about every list when it comes to the overall cleanliness of the cities, the standard of living, and general happiness of the people. If you’re a sailing fan, Auckland is also known as the City of Sails and features numerous nautical shows and activities to keep you busy. Don’t forget about the rich history of the country itself — the indigenous culture’s influence can still be felt in between all the other modern touches, making New Zealand a perfect cruise destination for New Year’s Eve.

7. Rio De Janeiro

Rio De Janeiro - New years Eve

Carnival isn’t the only time of year when Rio sizzles — the vibrant citizens of Rio know how to make New Year’s Eve light up in a big way! Rio is home to not only world class restaurants, but a fiery, vibrant Latin dance culture that highlights samba along with other dance forms. The diverse mixture of European, African, Caribbean and Latin cultures makes for surprises at every turn — it is almost guaranteed that with everything available to do in Rio, you won’t be bored!

8. Mumbai

Mumbai

This city has a very unique composition — it is actually seven beautiful islands connected to each other. The home of Bollywood screen glamor and a bustling core of nightlife and activity almost around the clock, Mumbai is a perfect New Year’s cruise destination. There’s no reason not to travel here — no matter what you’re looking for, generally Mumbai will have an activity to suit your needs. Art fans will definitely appreciate the number of museums and open air art viewings available in the city’s main core. World class restaurants await those with a true heart for fine dining, offering exotic dishes that have to be experienced firsthand in order to be fully appreciated.

9. Hawaii

Hawaii

This beautiful chain of islands so close to the American mainland has been a favorite of many travelers for decades. The warm breeze, lush tropical paradise and constant sun are just some of the reasons why it’s such a crowd favorite. Many cruises traveling during New Year’s Eve offer a real Hawaiian experience, letting people from all walks of life see the best of Hawaiian culture, including authentic fire-pit barbecue and luau shows.
There are beautiful coral reefs and underwater life if you’re interested in exploring the depths of the sea, but there’s also more to do on land. The relative small size of Hawaii’s islands makes it possible to explore multiple islands over the course of your cruise. This is a great destination especially for American tourists that want to get away from home without leaving their home country, ideally getting the best of both worlds.

10. Tahiti

Tahiti

Sailing into the New Year on a beautiful cruise liner with twelve beautiful and untouched months ahead of you is one of the best feelings in the world – millions of people all over have taken this special time of year to say goodbye to a year gone by and hello to the bright future ahead – why not join them?

Traveling is a great way to learn new things and experience different cultures, but often times, no matter how excited about the prospect, people find reasons to forego the excitement of leaving home. It takes more than a longing to get out of town. The primary excuses for not traveling are money and fear. There is never enough money for anyone; even celebrities do not feel they have earned enough. If you start planning now you will likely find that it isn’t nearly as expensive as you thought.

Start by getting a passport; it will last ten years, buying you time to take the next step. Think of one place you have always wanted to go that is a good place for new travelers, like Europe. Even a short excursion to a touristy place in Canada or Alaska will be an unforgettable experience, and it will not cost you nearly as much as traveling farther abroad. Going somewhere similar to what you are used to will give you an idea of what traveling is like without forcing you to learn a new language or talk to strangers if these are some of the things that you use to justify not leaving home. It takes away some of the elements of fear if you plan a trip closer to home or more like home, but closer trips are a good way to branch out and get acclimated to new places.

You are just planning on traveling, not moving. Think of the trip as a great way to forget about a job that you cannot stand. Once you return you may find that the job does not bother you so much, or it could simply be burnout that is making you so tense. If you do not think you have the time for a long trip, plan a short one to somewhere a few towns or states away. It will cost less and can be done over a long weekend. Getting used to the idea of traveling can take some time, especially for locations further way, it may seem impossible to have that kind of time. But if traveling is something you are really longing to experience, the best thing to do is just go. Shuffle some money around and save for a few months. Once you have the tickets and the hotels booked, you will wonder why it took you so long.
