3 Steps to the Perfect Bachelorette Vacation

It’s said that a woman’s wedding day is one of the most important days of her life. There is a lot to think about when it comes to planning a wedding, but does that mean that you will not be able to squeeze in one last vacation before you have to go and get married? Absolutely not — there’s no reason to feel like you can’t have one last big vacation before you become a bride. Of course, no vacation would be complete without going out with your girlfriends, right? Right!

Yet you can’t just jump into a bachelorette vacation. If you really want to build an experience and an adventure that will leave behind amazing memories, you will definitely need to get started as soon as possible with the planning phase of your vacation.

Not sure where to begin? Don’t worry — we’ve got your back! There are essentially three steps to the perfect bachelorette vacation.

Bachelorette Vacation

First and foremost, you will need to make sure that you get the finances out of the way. If you’re taking along a large group, you will want to make sure that you actually take the time to figure out where everyone’s financial contribution is going to be. The thing that you must keep in mind is that not everyone will necessarily have the same amount of funds available to participate in the bachelorette trip. You have two options at this point. The first option is that you can set a hard limit that requires everyone to chip in a certain amount before they can go on the trip. This can cause a lot of hurt feelings if you don’t know your friends well, but for a close knit group this could be understandable.

You will need to also think about the second option, which is simply helping your friends that can’t afford the full cost of the trip outright. This usually means covering the difference between what they can spend and what you can spend. Is this going to cost you more in the long run? Definitely. However, if you have a friend that you just have to have come with you on your bachelorette vacation, then you definitely want to make sure that you fill in the gap so that your friend can attend. That’s the important part.

Next, you will need to get an idea of where the entire group wants to go. Is it hard to get everyone to agree on the same destination? No, but you will need to be patient. Everyone has their own idea of where they should go for their vacation, and if you’re trying to build the perfect group vacation you will need to be as understanding as possible. If you feel like no one is going to agree on a travel destination, you might want everyone to write their suggestions down and throw them into a hat. The first one that gets pulled out of the hat will be what you will want to go with. There’s no reason why you can’t achieve this goal, especially when everyone sees that you’re trying to do it in the fairest manner possible.

Finally, you need to make sure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to activities. If you know that one person isn’t a big drinker, you will want to avoid scheduling the entire group off to the nightclub. Respecting everyone’s beliefs and values is important, even when you’re on vacation. There are plenty of great activities that you can look into that don’t even involve making anyone feel bad. You could always go on a cheese tasting tour, or check out museums, playhouses, ballet centers, and music halls. Everyone loves a good concert!

At the end of the day, a bachelorette vacation is less about the activities that you do and more about the fact that you will be spending time with the women that matter most to you.

If you’re ready to get started, the time to start is definitely today!
