Travel insurance: airline problems and compensation when you have travel insurance

The insurance company Endsleigh now include SAFI as a standard on both single and multi trip policies. SAFI is the term used for Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance.

The policy provides an impressive cover of up to a total of £2,000 for each person that appears as a name on the cover. This applies when costs cannot be recovered from any other source, such as when an airline provider doesn’t form part of an inclusive package or alternatively it becomes bankrupt prior to the departure of the journey in question.
